The Florida Panthers will have to play the rest of Saturday night’s game against the visiting Anaheim Ducks without sniper Sam Reinhart. Reinhart was slapped with a five-minute major and a game misconduct after he caught Ducks forward Isac Lundestrom with a knee-on-knee hit late in the opening 20 minutes of play.

Sam Reinhart snapped a three-game goal drought and the Florida Panthers beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-2 on Tuesday night.

Florida, on the shoulders of an excellent game by goalie Spencer Knight, defeated the visiting Anaheim Ducks by a 3-0 final score. It was a strong 60-minute effort by Florida, especially when taking into account that they played more than two periods without Sam Reinhart,

While the Flames don’t currently have any forwards in their system who look like they’ll be bonafide superstars like the two former Sabres stars, they’re banking on the idea that maintaining an internal culture where winning is a goal and an expectation will bring out the best in the young players they do have.

Following their 5-2 loss to the Florida Panthers last night, the Ducks were back at Honda Center for today’s practice. In similar fashion to Saturday’s 3-0 loss to the Panthers, the Ducks faltered in the third period in last night’s result.
