An 18-year-old male student had a stolen 9mm handgun in his backpack at Flex High School on Flint's north side Monday.

The high school managed the packs and deliveries while Backpacks for Kids worked on recovering their operations from the incident. VanRavenhorst expressed her gratitude for those who helped.
