There have been anonymous reports that former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders did not do well during his pre-draft interviews with NFL teams. New York Giants first-round pick Jaxson Dart discussed the pre-draft process,

Ole Miss Rebels football legend Jaxson Dart was accused of taking a shot at Shedeur Sanders for how his meeting with New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll went before the 2025 NFL draft.

(The NFC exec) said Sanders refused to interview with his team, which has an established quarterback in his prime. He said that in turning down the interview at the combine, Sanders told one of his team’s scouts: “You’ve already got a quarterback and you’re not picking in the top 5.”

A fictitious social media account is claiming the Giants have footage of Shedeur Sanders that the quarterback doesn't want getting out.

Shedeur Sanders' slide down the 2025 NFL Draft continues to be one of the major stories in the league, and reports are emerging of what contributed to the slide.

Cabot pointed out the Cleveland Browns, who ended up taking the Colorado product in the fifth round, found Sanders "somewhat introverted as opposed to brash and arrogant," which was notable word choice since NFL insider Josina Anderson reported in March an NFL quarterbacks coach called him "brash" and "arrogant" during a predraft interview.

During his appearance on 98.5 The Sports Hub on Thursday, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer spoke about the Browns quarterback’s brutal pre-draft interview with the Giants, which was initially reported by Todd McShay last week.

Sanders shared his thoughts on the early relationships he's built with the other passers in Cleveland's quarterback room.

Sanders is clearly not falling due to a lack of talent. You'd struggle to find a draft evaluator that had Oregon's Dillon Gabriel over Sanders. But the bottom line is that it would appear Sanders did not give the pre-draft process the respect it deserved.
