Under the ceasefire agreement, Israel has agreed to hand over the bodies of 15 Palestinians in return for every deceased Israeli hostage.

Israel received the remains of two more hostages on Wednesday (October 15, 2025), hours after the Israeli military said that one of the bodies previously turned over was not that of a hostage.
