Nathan Frazer has released a statement following his match against Ilja Dragunov on WWE SmackDown. Dragunov successfully defended his United States Championship against Frazer on Friday’s show after Frazer answered his open challenge. Frazer released a statement about the match on Saturday, writing:
A big WWE title match has been added to "Friday Night SmackDown," as Ilja Dragunov will defend the United States Championship.
Drew McIntyre must be a happy man. McIntyre left WWE SmackDown riding high after laying out both Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso. It puts McIntyre in the driver's seat before next week's undisputed WWE title match at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Programming Insider reports that WWE SmackDown on October 24 drew 1.147 million viewers on USA Network. This number is down from the 1.180 million viewers the show drew on Friday, October 17. Friday’s episode scored a 0.29 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, up from the 0.28 rating last Friday.
