The Euclid fire started shortly after 2 p.m. near the 71 Freeway and Euclid Avenue. Cal Fire said initial reports listed the blaze as a vegetation fire, and it has grown to 120 acres.

The brush fire burning in Chino Hills dubbed the Euclid Fire, has been 10% contained after fire crews stopped forward progress. The 120-acre blaze erupted Wednesday sometime before 2:08 p.m. and quickly jumped the 71 Freeway, prompting a closure in both directions, according to the Cal Fire.
