Once again, a Los Angeles Angels ' first-round pick has rocketed to the big leagues. The Angels are calling up infielder Christian Moore, reports Baseball America. The team has not confirmed the move. Moore was the No. 8 overall pick in last summer's draft.

He played 23 games with the Bees after beginning the season with Double-A Rocket City, posting a .279 batting average with 57 hits, 31 runs, 32 RBIs, five home runs and 31 walks between both stops.
