Users shared an image allegedly showing one of U.S. President Donald Trump's Truth Social posts during his ongoing feud with Elon Musk.

A rumor that circulated online in June 2025 claimed U.S. President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that tech billionaire and former White House adviser Elon Musk "totally" did a Nazi salute.

Media outlets covered Elon Musk's hand gesture as a "Nazi salute," according to Media Research Center findings, while Sen. Cory Booker's similar motion received no coverage.

Many social media users noticed the gesture looked like a Nazi salute. Musk fanned the flames of suspicion by not explicitly denying those claims in a dozen posts since.
