A woman charged with assaulting former interim US Attorney Ed Martin allegedly spit on him during a TV news interview in Washington DC, prosecutors say.

“My name is Emily Gabriella Sommer, and you are served,” she’s accused of yelling.

Video captured Sommer swearing at Martin, calling him “a disgusting man” and yelling, “My name is Emily Gabriella Sommer, and you are served,” before walking away, the affidavit says.
