Two-time Indy 500 champion Josef Newgarden will host a charity go-kart event before the 2025 Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix.

Former major league pitcher and longtime Athletics scout Jeff Bittiger has died at age 63. The A's announced that Bittiger died Saturday morning.
