These sights – and more – are signatures of the NFL Draft, which Pittsburgh is in the early stages of planning for April 23-25 next year. Draft activities are expected to take over Point State Park and the North Shore, connected by the Allegheny River and incorporating iconic Pittsburgh sights like Acrisure Stadium.

After the draft concluded in Green Bay on Sunday, Mark Murphy, the Packers' president and CEO, was joined by other Packers and Steelers representatives as the Packers handed the ball off to the Steelers, effectively starting the timer until Pittsburgh plays host to the NFL Draft in 2026.

The Pittsburgh Steelers did just that Saturday when they posted a video with the caption "Pittsburgh is officially on the clock" since the city will host the 2026 NFL draft. The video also included the dates, as the draft will happen from April 23-25 next year:
