The New England Patriots have elevated safety Richie Grant and running back Terrell Jennings from the practice squad to the active roster, the team announced.

After being waived by the Patriots, Zappe signed with Kansas City’s practice squad. He was poached by the Browns in October and signed to their active roster. Zappe finished the season in Cleveland, starting their Week 18 loss to the Ravens.

The Browns' rookie running back already has five rushing touchdowns this season, but he'll meet a Patriots defense that has been tough against the run.

The Patriots made a pair of practice squad elevations ahead of Sunday’s game against the Browns. Running back Terrell Jennings and safety Richie Grant have been added to the active roster. This is the third and final elevation available for Jennings, who has been playing more following a season-ending injury to Antonio Gibson.
