Wigan Athletic have signed Wrexham striker – and cult hero among fans - Paul Mullin on loan for the forthcoming 2025-26 season. The 30-year-old has scored 110 goals in 170 games in all competitions for the Welsh club since joining in the summer of 2021.

Mullin, who had been Wrexham’s player of the season in each of the three previous years, was only a bit-part performer when the team won promotion to the second tier last season.
