Following a blockbuster trade sending Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants from the Boston Red Sox, the lefty slugger will debut vs Cleveland.

The press conference will be held at Oracle Park in San Francisco at 5:30 p.m. EST (2:30 p.m. PST) and will feature a panel of Giants chairman Greg Johnson, president of baseball operations Buster Posey, general manager Zack Minasian, manager Bob Melvin, and of course, Devers himself.

Rafael Devers insisted he will play anywhere and do whatever Giants manager Bob Melvin and his staff ask him to play.

Posey’s bold, brash, and perhaps even reckless trade for three-time All-Star slugger Rafael Devers on Sunday is a big black-and-orange stamp from the new director of baseball operations on the Giants organization.
