San Diego Padres star Luis Arraez has been placed on the 7-day injured list and entered into the concussion protocol after a scary moment during Sunday night's game against the Houston Astros, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

After a collision in the first inning on Sunday night that saw Luis Arraez carted off the field and brought to a hospital, he's going on the 7-day IL.

Luis Arraez has been placed on the seven-day concussion injured list by the San Diego Padres. The three-time batting champion got hurt Sunday night in Houston when he collided with Astros second baseman Mauricio Dubón on a frightening play at first base.
