Hurricane Erin strengthened on Wednesday as it headed north in the Atlantic. Here's the latest update, path, warnings and more in NJ and Delaware.

The NWS issued a coastal flooding warning for Sussex and Kent counties in Delaware. As opposed to a coastal flooding watch, a warning means that the risk is imminent, and most certainly will happen.

Some wading and surfing was permitted on Delaware beaches Aug. 20 but conditions are changing and swimmers must beware of rip currents and rough surf.
