When performing the reverse lunge to dynamic lift, don't rush the movement. Make sure to pause briefly after each lift, then step back slowly into the next lunge. Keep your abs engaged as you move through the chop, allowing a powerful exhale as you dynamically move through the lifting motion. You can perform the exercise with your upper back resting on a bench if one is available. If not, you can perform it with your upper back resting on the floor. The barbell rollout is an anti-extension exercise targeting the abdominal muscles and glutes. To begin, kneel on the floor with the hands on the barbell. Drive pressure through the hands and drive the barbell down into the floor. Draw the belly button back toward the spine and press the barbell away from the body. With the glutes contracted, slowly roll forward and extend the arms before pulling the bar back into the starting position. For more exercises, check out Strength Training for Football
