Save this honey checklist⬇️🍯 1- organic certification doesn’t mean much as the bees can fly 🐝 2- get raw or unpasteurized always - all of the nutrients and benefits of the honey are intact 3- origin- look for honey from places that are less likely to have heavy industrial farming activity nearby What about unfiltered (cloudy) vs filtered (transparent) honey? As long as they’re raw they both contain all of the good nutrients so it comes down to preference. I like both and buy both. #animalbased

We have our annual organic inspection tomorrow, from @soilassociation . Most of it is paperwork for traceability, so looking at where all our inputs come from, any bought in produce and also our sales. But also, our packaging, labelling, farm practices…it’s a lot of work, and financial cost maintaining organic standards, but I think I accountability is important, and a source of pride achieving Organic status. There’s not many of us, I think only 10% of UK farmland is certified as Organic… | Sun
