In the main event, Ric Flair and The Giant (with “The Mouth of the South”Jimmy Hart) defeated Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage (with Miss Elizabeth and Kevin Greene). It was reported that Flair, who lost the WCW World Title to Savage one day prior, threatened to quit WCW unless the finish to the main event (Hogan pinning Flair with the legdrop) was changed.
