This is why I’m cutting in the new window sill location now, not later. Since the drywall is already off and I can see all the framing, it makes way more sense to prep for the future window now. Using a Milwaukee oscillating tool, I’m cutting the exact sill location while everything is open and accessible. When the new, bigger window eventually goes in, there’s no guessing, no patching drywall, and no extra demo. Just drop it in and move on. Plan ahead. Do it once. Save yourself time and headach
