I’ve always been fascinated, in the worst sense, by the Vietnam War. And I’ve always ached for the soldiers and the families that suffered from its bombs, guns, politics, emotional aftermath, and, unfathomably, from the ridicule and protests hurled at them by their own nation upon return from that hell.
