Patrick and his friend Ndakasi mountain gorilla conservation programs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (where Ndakasi lived), Uganda, and Rwanda are exceptionally effective at fighting poaching, protecting habitat, and engaging local communities in the protection of wildlife. Our best chance to save mountain gorillas is to expand these initiatives.
