Herders in Inner Mongolia are launching their annual winter roundup, retrieving over 2,000 camels that have grazed freely across the Alxa deserts all summer. Traveling deep into the Badain Jaran and Ulan Buh by pickup and motorcycle, they follow tracks across the sand to bring every camel home.
