On Friday, May 11, a member of the AWHC Team participated in the BLM-led tour at the Indian Lakes wild horse holding facility in Fallon, Nevada. They were joined by 5 members of the public. The facility had approximately 1,000 wild horses and burros and it was at about 1/3 of its capacity. Our team member observed a lot of mares with young foals that will be weaned at around 6 months of age, and will be available for adoption.
