The Anson nearly had an embarrassing 2025 opening weekend!! The Gardner 4LW normally a reliable “start and forget” engine was over heating yesterday! It drives a 3 stage air compressor for charging the Ansons air receivers to 200psi (14bar) for starting engines that have an air start capability. Hopefully this video will explain how eventually it was sorted and might help other Gardner owners in the future. If your Gardner doesn’t warm up very fast you might have the problem of the thermostat st
